Former British Prime Minister and the United Nations envoy for global education Gordon Brown has expressed delight at the Nobel achievement of 'best friends' Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi.
According to Dawn, Brown praised them for their determination, courage and vision that no child should be left behind.
Brown earlier took up Malala's cause with a petition for universal primary education which was given to the Pakistani government on a day that was declared Malala Day.
Brown had also arranged for the 17 year old education rights campaigner to speak at the United Nations.
Malala said in a press conference in Birmingham that she thinks she did not deserve a Nobel Peace Prize.
