Gore Vidal's family has hinted that the American writer may have had sex with underage men as they contest his 37 million dollar will.
According to The New York Times, the writer's half-sister, Nina Straight and nephew, Burr Steers are contesting his will.
Vidal left his entire estate to Harvard University.
Straight, who is also a writer claimed that Vidal was fearful of being exposed to a political rival, conservative columnist William F. Buckley, for his "Jerry Sandusky acts", the New York Daily News reported.
Steers also revealed that he knew that Buckley possessed a file, which Gore feared and it would make sense if the material was about him having underage sex.
He added that Gore usually spent a lot of time in Bangkok and also had a very weird take on the abuse perpetrated by Catholic priests, as he would say that the young guys involved were hustlers who were sending signals.
