Asserting that the Constitution promulgated last year has ensured all rights of people, Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli on Sunday said that his government was now heading towards economic prosperity.
"There is no reason that Nepal should not be developed," the Himalayan Times quoted Oli as saying.
The Prime Minister added that the government was committed to launch a development campaign with the new budget announcement for the next fiscal.
"Nepal cannot be poor all the time. We should not let it be," he added.
He reiterated that his government was ready to address all genuine concerns of protesting parties through talks.
"I have called (the protesting parties) for the talks. I have expressed the commitment to solve all the problems through talks," he said.
He was of the view that everyone should move ahead seeking commonness among the people rather than highlighting differences.
"We are all Nepalis. We all should be granted with rights and should enjoy developments," he said.
