Former Mumbai police commissioner and BJP Member of Parliament Satyapal Singh on Friday said the NDA Government is aware of the latest ceasefire violation by Pakistan.
Singh told ANI, "It's all very unfortunate that this is happening on our border. It should be brought to an end and I am sure, the government is seized of it. There must be some amicable solution to it."
Three people were killed and eight others were injured as Pakistani Rangers resorted to unprovoked shelling on civilian areas along the international border in the R S Pura
Sector on Friday morning.
The Pakistani troops fired mortar bombs and used automatic weapons in the firing. The shelling was so heavy that the shells landed deep inside the villages far away from the International Border.
