A minor girl, who was allegedly raped and set on fire in Greater Noida's Tigri village on Monday, passed away today morning.
The 15-year-old girl succumbed to her burn injuries at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital around 3.30 am today.
She had sustained 95% burn injuries after the accused, who has been arrested, poured kerosene on her and set her on fire on her roof.
The accused boy's family is pleading for his clemency, stating that he is a minor.
The accused, who lives close by, reportedly entered the house and called her to the roof, where he first raped her and then set her on fire.
