Indian fishing boats, which were detained by Pakistan for crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL), were handed over to their respective owners by Gujarat's Agriculture and Fisheries Minister Babu Bokhiria on Tuesday.
The boats, which had sailed from Pakistan on Saturday, arrived at Porbandar on Monday.
A team of towing boats, fishermen and Gujarat Government officials had sailed from Porbandar to the designated IMBL site to receive the vessels. These boats were towed by Pakistani trawlers to the designated location under the supervision of the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency.
The whole operation was supervised by Indian Coast Guard ships Rajratan and Vijit.
