Gujarat floods: Indian Army rescues 35 stranded people

The Indian Army's Golden Katar Division personnel on Saturday rescued 35 people from flood in Surendranagar district's Kuda village and distributed food and medicines to aid the flood victims.

The team mobilised several columns of troops along with specialised equipment and trained manpower to boost the ongoing rescue and relief work in the worst flood affected district after receiving a requisition from the Gujarat Government.

The Army's rescue teams comprised the Engineer Task Force and a medical team rescued citizens.

The rescued people were evacuated and taken to a safe place.
