Gurdaspur terror attack: Militants likely part of LeT or Jaish-e-Mohammed, says MHA

The Ministry of Home Affairs has said that it is likely that the terrorists involved in the Gurdaspur terror attack, which has claimed the lives of several civilians and police personnel, might be a linked to terror outfits LeT or Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team chanted victory slogans after the Gurdaspur terror attack came to an end this evening following a fierce gun battle between the army and militants.

According to reports, all terrorists involved in the attack have been killed.

According to reports, several civilians and police personnel lost their lives in the gun battle.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs has called a meeting at 6 p.m. to discuss the terror attack.

 

A high alert has been sounded in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and New Delhi after the militant attack in Gurdaspur.
