Khattar was interacting with members of the Shantiniketan Group Housing Society, which commitment to build 98 flats of different denominations.

"And every month 10 to 25 grievances are being heard. Even this time 22 grievances were heard which were already there in the agenda and apart from that 10 to 12 grievances were heard which were not even included in any agendas. So, overall 35 grievances have been heard. Some grievances were sorted on the spot, and for some we have made separate committees," Khattar said.

He also assured that the grievances put forth during the current meeting would be resolved be next month.

"And I will make sure that the left over grievances from this month will be sorted out next month. Grievances meeting will happen every month. If I am not able to come then the meeting will go on under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner," he said.

The builders are not ready to place the documents and accounts of the society in front of the buyers who are share holders in the society, nor have they taken any steps to resume construction.

Recently, an FIR has been lodged in Sushant Lok Police Station against the builders.

"Several complaints from consumers against builders are there. We are going to look onto assets and liabilities of these builders. With this we would be able to decide whether a particular company is able to deliver or not . We are also going to recommend a delay penalty," Khattar added.

Prominent among the builders is Mangal Sain Mittal, who is the Chairman of the Ramada Hotel in Gurgaon.
