A Saudi Arabian official has said the hajj pilgrimage will continue this year despite a crane collapse, which killed more than 100 people at Mecca's Grand Mosque.

According to The Guardian, the officials said that hajj will definitely go on and the affected part will be fixed within a few days.

An investigation is underway following the death of 107 people.

Muslims make their annual hajj pilgrimage later in September and Saudi authorities go to great lengths to be prepared for the millions of people who converge at Mecca.
