Three-time world champion Lewis Hamilton outpaced teammate Nico Rosberg as Mercedes dominated the first practice session of this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix.
The Briton, who clocked the fastest lap of one minute and 21.347 seconds, was nearly 0.237 seconds quicker than Formula One leader Rosberg, who recently extended his Mercedes contract until 2018.
Meanwhile, Ferrari duo of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen finished third and fourth respectively.
Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo clocked fifth fastest ahead of team-mate Max Verstappen, news.com.au reported.
Hamilton had slashed down Rosberg's lead from 43 to just one point after winning previous four races of the ongoing season.
