Formula One rivals Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg insists that they are friends despite their on-track rivalry for the motor sport title.
According to the BBC, the Mercedes team-mates had fallout at the last race in Monaco, where Hamilton suspected Rosberg of gamesmanship. However, the pair is set to renew their rivalry in this weekend's Canada Grand Prix, but Hamilton does not foresee any ongoing problems.
Rosberg, who leads Hamilton by four points, said that it was not unusual that they were still friends as their base respect goes back 15 years.
The report further added that Hamilton was of the opinion that Rosberg deliberately left the track in qualifying in Monaco to deny him the chance of claiming pole for the race which the German went on to win.
Hamilton also said that they were going from strength to strength and believed that people have ups and downs so it was no different since they had been racing together.
