Mercedes ace Lewis Hamilton has dismissed suggestions that he is current championship leader Sebastian Vettel's main challenger in this year's Formula One race, ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.

According to BBC, the 2008 F1 winner refused to prophesy the outcome of the upcoming race, although he admitted that he comes to Spa every year with an expectation to win the race.

Although Hamilton believed that Mercedes will be competitive and that he will be able to eke out even better results if he works hard, he however, said that he does not think that he is Vettel's main challenger in the championship as Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Lotus' Kimi Raikkonen will even be more competitive than him.

However, the Brit said that he feels that Vettel's Red Bull is the best car and will be tough to beat, although he does not expect that to be impossible.

Meanwhile, Hamilton said that he has trained six days a week this year without attending any social events, following which he claimed to have learned a lot about his health and physical well-being, which has been a focus for him.
