Lewis Hamilton started his Formula One campaign on a winning note after securing victory in the Australian Grand Prix on Sunday and he was joined on the podium by Arnold Schwarzenegger and joked about the Commando star's height.

The Mercedes driver led from start to finish in a race which saw just 11 cars reach the finish line, and he was pleasantly surprised to be greeted and congratulated afterwards by the former bodybuilder.

Schwarzenegger said that he was just asked to conduct the interviews with the winners there, adding that he was so excited about it, The Mirror reported.

The Terminator star had said that just for the last two days he was interviewing the fittest people, the strongest people, the most energetic people and now he said that he would be interviewing the fastest people in the world.

Schwarzenegger went on to ask Hamilton about his victory before the Brit responded by saying that it was also good to be up there with him, adding that he thought he would be taller.
