Tea Leoni has admitted that she realizes chasing youth won't help, and is embracing her ageing process.
In an interview, the 48-year-old 'Fun With Dick and Jane' actress, who'll soon turn 49, said that she has come to terms with the fact that happiness is paramount when it comes to ageing, Us magazine reported.
She said though she wasn't "thrilled" to see herself in the mirror, she now knows that happiness could be a victim of trying to stay young and desirable, and she was at peace to be relieved of that burden.
The mother-of-two, who parted with her husband of 17 years David Duchovny in 2014 and said that she was loving it, said that her commitment to living life on her own terms had allowed her to take on the leading lady role on 'Madame Secretary,' and uproot her family to the show's New York City headquarters, without regrets.
And though she was often told she hadn't really made it for she didn't have an Oscar, there was no award that could replace the time with her kids, and at this stage of life, it wasn't about contentment, appeal or awards, but about "finding something more.
