Harrison Ford sent some of the 'Star Wars' fans into euphoria after he surprised them on Skype for a good cause.

The 73-year-old actor, who plays Han Solo in the upcoming franchise, took part in the Skype chat sessions to promote Omaze's 'Star Wars: Force for Change' fundraising campaign and competition, E! Online reports.

All the chat participants were past donors and were under the impression that they were set to talk to Omaze officials only.

In conversation with a participant, the Omaze officials asked "Who's your favorite character"? To which, she replied "I have to go with Padme (Natalie Portman's character)."

Right after that, Ford suddenly appeared and asked "Who's your favorite character?" The shocked and astonished woman replied "Hi Harrison."

The fundraising campaign offers fans a chance to attend the movie's premiere in either London or Los Angeles.

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' is set to hit the theaters on Dec. 18.
