Harrison Ford has revealed that he was told he didn't have star quality and that he wouldn't make it as an actor after his first role.

The 'Indiana Jones' star said that he was in a contract at Columbia Pictures for 150 dollars a week and his first movie role was of a bell boy, a bell man in a hotel, Contactmusic reported.

Ford said that he delivered a note or a telegram or something to James Coburn.

He said that there was a guy that was in charge of what they call the new talent programme and he called the 71-year-old actor into the office and said that he saw the rushes and he believed Ford would never make it in the show business.
