Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Monday criticized the Haryana Government's move to include Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev in the state cabinet, dubbing the latter as a 'thug'.
"Couldn't the Haryana government find a bigger 'thug' for cabinet status? Once a thug always a thug, a thug is a thug is a thug," said Singh.
Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister M.L Khattar said that there was no need to make an issue of the decision.
"We have given him the responsibility as an ambassador of Yoga. There is no need to make that an issue out of it," said Khattar.
Earlier in the day, the Haryana Government took the decision to include Ramdev in the state cabinet as the ambassador for yoga.
