ANI New Delhi

The Haryana government has constituted a commission to probe the land deals of Robert Vadra during the previous Congress rule in the state.

Former Delhi High Court judge Justice (retired) Dhingra, has been appointed as chairman of the newly formed commission, which will probe issues concerning the granting of licences for developing commercial colonies by the Department of Town and Country Planning, the subsequent transfer or disposal of lands and change of land use by favouring few companies.

The commission will also focus on undue favours to certain builders, including Vadra Skylight hospitality by the then-government. The panel will submit its report to the government as early as possible but not later than six months.

Earlier, the CAG had alleged that Vadra's firm was one of the nine companies in the area which had not submitted documents on financial adequacy.
