Commenting on the letter written by Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor asking for expediting the case relating to his wife Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor's death, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Monday said he has forwarded his request to the concerned authorities.

"He has written to me for early expedition of the case... I have already talked to the persons concerned and they are going to do it," Shinde told media here today.

Tharoor, on Sunday, had written to Shinde offering full cooperation in the probe into his wife Sunanda's death.

He also wrote in his letter, "I finally had a chance to catch up with media reports and I am horrified to read the reckless speculation."

Earlier today, according to reports, doctors haven't ruled out the presence of anti-depressant drug Alprazolam, an overdose of which, might have led to Sunanda's death on January 17

Late on Sunday, Tharoor recorded his statement with sub divisional magistrate Alok Sharma, which lasted for over an hour, and is reported to have narrated the whole sequence of events, which took place before Sunanda's death.

Tharoor was also questioned about his alleged relationship with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar

Sunanda Pushkar was found dead at Leela hotel in the capital on Friday night.

Her body was cremated on Saturday evening at the Lodhi crematorium in south Delhi.

Earlier on Saturday, Dr. Adarsh of AIIMS called the Sunanda Pushkar's death to be a sudden, unnatural one.

"It looks like an unnatural death, but let the reports come first. We have to see the report of how the body was found, and in what condition," he said.

"From the medical point of view, we can say that she might have died somewhere between 1pm to 7 p.m.," he added.

On questioning if the death might have been a case of murder he said it was very difficult to come to a conclusion at this point of time.

Her death comes two days after the Twitter scandal allegedly involving her, husband Shashi Tharoor and a Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar.
