Headband helps you control dreams

ANI Washington

A new headband launched on Kickstarter this month is reportedly capable of helping people control their dreams by pushing them in a lucid dream state.

The team that came up with the inception-style headband and raised funds worth 200,000 dollars invented the product to enable people to take control of their dreams.

The headband emits a series of lights that help users to realize that they are dreaming, as it measures brain waves and eye movement activity to determine when a person has entered REM sleep-a stage of sleep characterized by rapid eye movement where dreams are more likely to occur, Fox News reported.

Promoting the product, Aurora headband co-founder Daniel Schoonover said that you need something that makes you question the reality that you are in.

Meanwhile, sleep specialists have raised concerns that contrary to claims, the device may actually cause more health problems.
