The third day of thick fog of the winter season in the national capital on Wednesday, affected the operations of air and rail services.
At the Indira Gandhi International Airport , visibility was slightly better early in the morning, but started dropping after 8 am.
Between 30 and 35 flights were delayed as both the main runways have been shut.
The fog has also disrupted the railways services, with many trains running behind their scheduled time.
Road traffic was equally chaotic as the motorists tried to navigate through the dense fog.
North India usually witnesses early morning fog every winter when night temperatures often dip below five degrees Celsius.
