Former world number one Tim Henman believes that a verdict on the combination of Andy Murray and his coach Amelie Mauresmo could be given after a year of working together, indicating that the proof to determine their success could be seen after French Open.

Henman, a close friend of Murray, said that the first six months would be the proof to their working combination, adding that they hadn't had a chance to work on things as they were busy with Wimbledon and then US Open- hardcourt swing and finally World Tour Finals.

Murray had an ordinary season in 2014 following his surgery, with reaching no Grand Slam finals but winning three autumn events, which enabled him to qualify for the ATP World Tour Finals.

Henman stated that the most important thing was to regain the identity to his game and him being more aggressive and using the weapon he had. He further said that it just requires a minor adjustment for him to play the way he played during his Wimbledon and US Open triumphs, the Mirror reported.

According to him, the success of his game style would depend on the fact that whether he would make into the Grand Slam finals.
