Consumption of content in local languages on digital platforms is on a rise.
Indian language users are not just accessing chat apps, and digital entertainment, but they are also opting for digital news consumption and payments.
According to a report by Google - KPMG, an estimated 536 million Indians are expected to use regional languages while online by 2021, complemented by increasing affordability of devices and data charges and availability of more local content.
With tech players focusing more and more to build something appropriate for the masses, here is a list of apps which are available in leading Indian languages.
Way2Online
Way2Online is a short news app that caters to seekers of news and information in English and eight regional Indian languages which include, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, and Marathi.
