The video of Shawn Mendes' latest music for 'Lost in Japan' is finally out and Twitterverse is going berserk over it.

Directed by Jay Martin, the music video was released last night and is inspired by Sofia Coppola's Oscar-winning film 'Lost in Translation'.

Mendes, in the video, plays Bill Murray's character, Bob, while '13 Reasons Why' actress Alisha Boe plays Scarlett Johansson's character, Charlotte.

The video features iconic shots from the film like Mendes sitting on the edge of his bed in a bathrobe.

Here's what 'In My Blood' singer's fans wrote:

"LOST IN TRANSLATION - #LostInJapanVideo I love this movie... the director for this recreation absolutely nailed it," a fan tweeted.

Another fan wrote, "It's full of adorable details #LostInJapanVideo."

"Lost In Japan & Lost In Translation...YOU'RE SMART," a fan of Mendes said.

Earlier this month, Mendes performed 'Lost in Japan' at the 2018 American Music Awards.

He is currently gearing up for his world tour, which will kick start on March 7, 2019.
