Kate Winslet, who is turning 40 today, has recently revealed that she is excited about the milestone birthday, even though she can't get "rip-roaring drunk" anymore.

The 'Titanic' star, who is set to star in three up-coming dramas, said that she feels like the past two years have been different for her, deliberately so, People magazine reported.

'The Reader' actress, who stars in three films 'Steve Jobs,' 'The Dressmaker' and 'Tripe 9' that are all slated to debut in the next six months, added "I really wanted to mix it up a bit, and feel that I was going full pelt towards 40 having done as much as I could: pushed myself, challenged myself, exhausted myself, had as much fun as possible. The last two years of my life have put a different sort of rocket fuel up my backside."

Winslet, who also happens to be the love interest of Liam Hemsworth in 'The Dressmaker,' mentioned that she said to Jocelyn Moorhouse, the director, that they might get away with this as the 25-year-old actor looks older than he is and she doesn't feel old.

Revealing that she could get away with a lot more in her twenties, Winslet admitted "I couldn't go out now and get rip-roaring drunk; I'd take a week to recover and I value my life too much. Plus, I have children."

She says she's "baffled" by anyone who doesn't think women get more beautiful with age, adding that confidence comes with age and looking beautiful comes from the confidence people have in themselves.
