Javier Hernandez has branded his loan club Real Madrid as 'the best team in the world' after the Mexican striker played an instrumental role for the Spanish club in his last two games.

Hernandez, who is on a season-long loan from Manchester United, scored the decisive goal against Atletico Madrid to help defending champions Real reach Champions League semifinal on Wednesday.

The Mexican international then scored a brace in Sunday's 4-2 win over Celta Vigo in La Liga tie.

Hernandez expressed that he is a Madrid player, adding that he is not sure if that would be for a long time, and therefore he wants to make the most of his minutes with the best team in the world.

Hernandez, who had to spend most of the season on the bench, further said that his team mates congratulated him for his performance but it was a team effort. He insisted that they would do their part to bring Real Madrid to the heights the club deserves to be at and win titles, the BBC reported.

Meanwhile, team manager Carlo Ancelotti opined that if the Mexican striker continues to be in this form, he would also be in the list of non-negotiable players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, James Rodriguez and Bale.
