Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Tuesday said that a magisterial inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the bus accident in Kinnaur district in which 18 passengers lost their lives.
"Today a bus that was coming from Tapri to Shimla met with an accident. 18 passengers lost their lives and several people are injured. I express my condolences to the family of the deceased. Magisterial inquiry is on to investigate the cause of the accident," Singh told ANI.
"Police immediately reached the spot and helped in the rescue operation. The injured was taken to the nearby hospital. Rs 25,000 will be given to the family of the deceased," he added.
18 people died today after a bus fell into a gorge in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur District.
