England's World Cup squad can reportedly have red sauce, brown sauce and butter as the national team coach Roy Hodgson has put sauce back on the menu after it was banned under former boss Fabio Capello.

Capello had reportedly banned ketchup during his regime, which had been a sore point among the players, but Hodgson has finally allowed his squad to have both red and brown sauce on the tables for every meal ahead of the World Cup in Brazil.

According to the Mirror, ketchup is supposed to be bad for players on strict diets but Hodgson's regime is less strict as he has allowed players to the treat.

England keeper Ben Foster said that the sauce is a sore point, adding that the squad is allowed to have it now as well as butter.
