England manager Roy Hodgson has said that Manchester City's Joe Hart is still his number one goalkeeper and he would start one of the national team's friendlies, which will take place at Wembley.

According to SportsMole.co.uk, Hart has been dropped from his position at Manchester City after a string of poor performances, but Hodgson has insisted that the 26-year-old remains first choice for his country.

Hodgson said that he felt it was important for him to look at the other two goalkeepers, but he had not decided when and where just yet.

He added that Hart would definitely start one of the games but did not think that he would start both.

Hodgson has named a 28-man squad for the two friendlies, which will both take place at Wembley, the report said.
