Hollywood biggies pay tribute to 'Country singer' Joey Feek

After Country singer Joey Feek passed away at the age of 40 due to cervical cancer, tributes are pouring in from the Hollywood celebrities.

Expressing her condolence, Carrie Underwood tweeted," Praying for the family & friends of Joey Feek. A beautiful soul moved into heaven today. A beautiful legacy she left behind. @joeyandrory" E! Online reports.

Blake Shelton tweeted: So sad to hear about Joeys passing."

Chris Young expressed his condolence by tweeting, "Thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the Feek family. Have played shows with Joey and Rory before and it's so sad to lose her amazing voice."

The Grammy Academy also took to Twitter, writing, "We are so very saddened to learn of the passing of Joey Feek. Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and fans today."

 

Singer Kimberly Perry tweeted, "Heartbroken by the passing of the beautiful Joey Feek and completely inspired by the way she lived every minute. Full of love and life..."

Brandy Clark wrote, ""I am saddened by the passing of Joey Feek, but inspired by the 'for better or worse' that she and Rory Feek have shown us all."

Joey + Rory were an American country & bluegrass duo composed of singer-songwriters Rory Lee Feek and Joey Martin Feek, who were also husband and wife.
