Madhya Pradesh Minister Jitu Patwari on Thursday said that the state treasury got affected due to the alleged honey-trap case in the state.
Speaking to ANI, Patwari said, "It is a serious issue. The state treasury has been affected by it. Chief Minister Kamal Nath is serious and has formed a special investigation team to probe it."
The minister said that Nath is clear that the "culprits will not be spared".
Six persons, including five women and a man, have been arrested in connection with the case.
The incident came to light after an Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) engineer filed a complaint alleging that two women blackmailed him by threatening to make some objectionable videos viral.
