Hope Solo has recently expressed that she is so happy and relieved after the judge dismissed all the domestic violence charges against the soccer player.

The 33-year-old was arrested in June 2014 for allegedly attacking her sister and nephew at her house in Seattle but the charges were dropped because witnesses and the two alleged victims refused to cooperate, E! Online reported.

The American soccer goalkeeper said that the decision brings closure to what has been one of the most difficult and emotionally draining times of her life.

Solo thanked her legal team, the U.S. Soccer Federation, her coaches and teammates on the U.S. National Team, and the Seattle Reign organization, who stood by her side and believed in her.

Solo also expressed her gratitude towards husband Jerramy, mother, grandmother and members of her extended family and fans who surrounded her with love and reassurance each and every day.
