Golfers Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington and others had a fun day at the park when they tried to attempt the 'Happy Gilmore' shot at the Scottish Open, popularized by Adam Sandler in his movie by the same name.

According to New York Daily News, players at the Scottish Open took a break from the competition to do something every golfer had done on his local course, which is to take a few steps back from the tee and attempt the best Happy Gilmore shot.

The report said that about a dozen pro golfers, including Padraig Harrington, Paul Lawrie, Phil Mickelson and Nicolas Colsaerts, took their best swing at the running tee-shot to have a bit of fun.

Harrington made the best shot with a drive of 328 yards, the report added.
