Hollywood celebs wasted no time after the US Supreme Court declared gay marriages were now allowed across the country, and celebrated the historic decision.
'Cabaret' star Liza Minnelli, 69, issued a statement saying that she has always believed in everyone's equal right to love and was extremely happy that the country was now "the law of the land."
Meanwhile, stars also took to Twitter to share their happiness over the ruling, reported Fox News.
Lady Gaga posted an image where she's seen holding a rainbow coloured banner with "Little Monster Parade" written over it and dark monster hands, while Madonna wrote "Finally And at Last! The Revolution Of Love has Begun!
Neil Patrick Harris and Ellen DeGeneres, who are married to same sex stars respectively, also took part in the celebration, with the 'How I Met Your Mother' actor writing "It's a new day. Thank you Supreme Court. Thank you Justice Kennedy. Your opinion is profound, in more ways than you may know," while the popular talk show host simply posted "Love Won."
Other stars who marked the decision with on Twitter included Harry Styles, Kelly Osbourne, Nicole Polizzi and Courtney Stodden.
