George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's may have splurged on their Italian wedding, but it was the Venice security that made the most out of it.

A source told E! Online that precautions were taken to ensure that the trips through the Grand Canals were carried out smoothly, and the paparazzi were charged with heavy fines by the Venice police for clicking a shot of the happy couple.

According to the insiders, the paparazzi had been fined between 10,000 and 20,000 dollars in boat, adding that some of them even had to pay 100 euro fines per day.

Also, photographers were fined for pretending to be taxi drivers in unlicensed boats, and fast driving in addition to other offenses, which brought the whole fined amount up to 30,000 dollars for the full four days the 53-year-old actor was in town.

In addition to all this, the Clooney had also paid a handsome amount of 2,848 euros (3,603 dollars) to the traffic police for their services related to the wedding.
