"We have formed a subcommittee out of the CABE committee which will devise a path way for reengaging out of school children," said Irani .

She informed that the committee will be headed by the Minister of State (HRD) Upendra Kushwaha, Tapan Chakraborty, Education Minister, Tripura, Paras Jain, Education Minister Madhya Pradesh, Ram Vilash Sharma, Minister of Harayana."

"We will request the Chairman, National Commission for protection of Child Rights, Additional Secretary school education along with the members of CABE to be the members of this subcommittee," she added.

Talking to the media, Union Minister Smriti Irani said,"I have requested the subcommittee to design a pathway for reengaging the out of school children in educational ecosystem within one year".
