Huge quantity of counterfeit RO purifiers seized at M/S AN Polymer's Premises

A raid was conducted on the premises of New Delhi based A.N. Polymers Private Limited, a RO cabinet manufacturer, on the orders of the Delhi High Court recently.

Counterfeit and spurious RO purifiers in huge quantities were seized. These were being unlawfully manufactured sold under the identical brand name 'Kent' and which also infringed the registered design of Kent RO Systems.

The cabinet manufacturer is unlawfully manufacturing cabinet of as many as five similar designs of Kent RO models like KENT GRAND+, KENT PERL, KENT SUPER+, KENT SUPREME, KENT PRIME for which Kent is having registered patent designs.

The purifiers were being illegally manufactured and are sold under the similar brand name AQUA Grand+, AQUA PEARL, AQUA SUPER+ AQUA SUPREME, AQUA PRIME.

 

The seize operation conducted at the premises of A.N.Polymer, A-54, Naraina Industrial Area, Phase-1, New Delhi, huge quantities of identical water purifiers outer bodies along with carton boxes were seized, account books, sales invoices, stock details production details were also verified and counter signed by the Local Commissioner appointed by the High Court.

The company is run by one Navin Mahajan who is engaged in such mall practices from quite a long. It was observed that there is a large racket behind, not just identical but duplicate cabinets of leading brands were also manufactured here and then supplied to various cities. More raids and seize operation will be conducted soon to unearthed this entire racket involve in counterfeit and duplicate RO purifiers.

Revealing this information, the Legal advisor of Kent RO Systems limited told us that, "The party has illegally obtained registration of similar designs by copying and imitating the designs subsequent to our registration which cannot be registerable in view of prior publication. The party is rolling out spurious products and is playing with the health of innocent consumers".

"The Hon'ble High Court of Delhi has also restrained AN Polyemrs, their distributors, dealers, stockiest, retailers, servant, agents and all other acting for and on behalf to manufacture sell and advertise any product that infringes registered design belongs to Kent RO.
