Hugh Hefner was laid to rest in a private ceremony in Los Angeles on Saturday.
It was attended by his wife Crystal Harris, key staffers and his four children - Christie, David, Marston and Cooper.
The Playboy founder, 91, was buried next to Marilyn Monroe in the space he purchased 25 years ago, reports People Magazine.
He had purchased the plot 25 years ago for $75,000.
Hefner died Wednesday from natural causes at home in The Playboy Mansion surrounded by loved ones.
