Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone, who had his famous hair cut off for charity, has reportedly raised over 36,000 pounds for a UK cancer charity.

According to the Mirror, the midfielder, who had vowed not to sit in the barber's chair until he scored, had finally ended his 32-month drought in the 6-0 win against Fulham on December 28, following which he celebrated by having an impromptu cut on the pitch of the KC Stadium immediately after the goal.

The report mentioned that Huddlestone is donating the proceeds to charity, and has so far raised over 36,000 pounds for Cancer Research UK.

Huddlestone booked himself in to have his lengthy locks officially cut in the Hull dressing City room by personal stylist Lance Lowe, the report added.
