Mahendra Singh Dhoni's embattled side, which failed to claim a single victory in the five-match ODI series against Australia, will now aim to salvage some pride when they will take on the hosts in the final match here at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Australia will aim to extend their winning streak at home to 19th as they are looking to claim a 5-0 whitewash against India.

If India go down 0-5 against Australia, then the visitors will drop to number three in the ODI rankings from their current number two spot.

Indian premier spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is likely to be recalled at the expense of Rishi Dhawan in the inconsequential final match, while Axar Patel could also get a nod for the first time in the series.

Also, opener Ajinkya Rahane, who split webbing on his right hand during the fourth ODI,is likely to be replaced by Manish Pandey.

For the hosts, Shaun Marsh and Scott Boland could be rested again at the SCG.

Australia had earlier clinched the ODI series with an unassailable four-nil lead following their 25-run victory over India in the final match in Canberra.
