Paris Saint-German striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has caught the ire of animal rights groups in Sweden for allegedly shooting a moose during a hunting trip.

The Swedish player, who is also an avid hunter, is believed to have held a hunting license since 2010 as hunting is legal in Sweden.

A Swedish newspaper claimed that the PSG striker had killed the 500 kg animal with one shot through its heart, the Guardian reported.

Commenting on the allegations, Camilla Bjorkbom of Sweden's Animal Rights' Union said that it is always problematic when famous people do things like that, because then it looks like they support this type of activities.
