A Hyderabad court on Friday rejected the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)'s plea, seeking cancellation of the bail granted to YSR Congress party Chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in a disproportionate assets case.
The matter will be next heard on June 9.
Earlier, the CBI had filed a petition asking the CBI court to cancel Jagan Mohan Reddy's bail in a DA case, claiming that Jagan has violated the bail clause.
The petition has been accepted by the CBI court, and Reddy has been asked to file a counter petition on the 7th of April.
Sources have said the CBI is alleging that Jagan is trying to influence the case.
The CBI court had granted conditional bail to Jagan in September 2013 after spending 16 months in jail.
