Local BJP MLA and chief parliamentary secretary in the Badal Government Dr.Navjot Kaur Sidhu praised the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) again on Thursday, and added that she is a suitable candidate for any political party, including the AAP.
She said the AAP Government in Delhi is doing a good job, and everyone should appreciate the work being carried out by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Talking to select media persons at her residence following her open revolt against her own SAD-BJP Government in Punjab, Sidhu said that her husband, cricketer and local MP Navjot Singh Sidhu is yet to take a decision on whether to contest the Lok Sabha polls or not.
"He himself will speak on the issue," she said, adding that she herself will leave politics if her husband decides to do so.
She further stated that she was against her government's decision to reduce VAT on the sale of cigarettes in Punjab.

On Punjab BJP chief Kamal Sharma's remarks that the Sidhu couple are unaware about the principles of the party, she said:"I always move towards positivity in life, and I never bother what people comment about me as long as I prove that I am doing good job. I am not bothered about anything."
She claimed she has always followed the highest possible principles in her political life.
According to reports, Dr.Navjot Sidhu had stated yesterday that they (Sidhu couple) were keeping all options open, and appreciated the AAP, as Navjot Sidhu was finding himself sidelined in the Punjab unit of the BJP and at national level.
Dr.Sidhu has repeatedly targeted the SAD-BJP Government on various issues, including on its development and health policies
Kamal Sharma, however, stated that if she had any grievances with the party or the government, she should raise it in the appropriate party forum and not in the media.
