Bob Geldolf has said that he ''clearly failed'' as a father and blamed himself for the death of his daughter, Peaches.
The 63-year-old said that he continually tried to help his daughter throughout her addiction and that she'd been off the drug for the past two and half years, but in the end he had failed, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Geldolf said that performing with 'The Boomtown Rats' had been therapeutic in dealing with the loss and he gets a very brief respite on stage.
Peaches, who visited the rehab weeks for heroin addict before her death, died of overdose in April 2014.
