I desperately tried to talk Earl Hayes' out of suicide, says Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather has revealed that he had desperately tried to talk his good friend Earl Hayes out of committing suicide.

The 37-year-old boxer told the LAPD during a 2-hour interview, that he was on FaceTime with Hayes, and heard him commit murder of his wife and suicide over phone, TMZ.com reported.

Mayweather told that detectives that Hayes, walked away from the phone and shot his wife, Stephanie Moseley, then came back and continued talking with him, and told the boxer that he was going to shoot himself, at which Mayweather pleaded with him not to. ayweather said Hayes had called him at such an early hour (7am) to bid farewell, and though he admits to have talked about Moseley's infidelity with Hayes, he denied provoking the rapper up.
