Commenting on the Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) first list for Lok Sabha polls and on contesting the polls from Delhi, party Spokesperson Ashutosh on Sunday said that he had the right to contest from any place he wanted.
"It is a legitimate question that why am I contesting from Delhi if I have worked in UP but all I can say is that I have been associated with Delhi ever since my education and I have always been seen as a Delhite," said Ashutosh.
"It is my right to fight elections from any place I want and if I want to contest polls, I want to do that like a common man. From the day I left my job, there was not even a Sunday where I spent at home," he said.
He also said that the elections would give his party a chance to introspect.
"There is a lot of transformation in the politics and the elections will give us a chance to introspect on all the questions raised against us. I am ready to commit mistakes and also learn from them," he added.
