The mother of the 19-year-old girl, who was brutally stabbed to death in Delhi's Anand Parbat area on Saturday, on Sunday said she wouldn't settle for anything less than justice.

Appearing to tell Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that a compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family was not enough, the victim's mother said, "I want justice. I want all the girls of our society to stay safe."

The family said the murderers should be hanged.

The 19-year-old girl was brutally stabbed to death allegedly by two brothers living in her neighbourhood for protesting against their verbal abuse on July 16.

Chief Minister Kejriwal, accompanied by his deputy Manish Sisodia, visited the victim's family and assured them of all possible help.
