Charlie Hunnam recently opened up about his departure from upcoming movie 'Fifty Shades of Grey' at the FOX TCA press conference.
The 'Sons of Anarchy' actor said that he would have brought a rugged charm to it but also believes that the other actor would do just fine and he was really curious to watch the movie, the Daily Express reported.
He further added while supporting both the movie and novel that people really do that book a disservice when they call it as 'mummy porn' and What E.L. James actually created was a really sophisticated dynamic and presented it in a package which was accessible to people who normally would be terrified of that subject.
At the time of Hunnam's departure, Universal Pictures stated that the filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam's immersive TV schedule which was not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.
Hunnam also confirmed that the CliffsNotes were exactly what they said and his immersive TV schedule was the reason behind his exit from the movie.
