Indian Air Force on Friday airlifted more than 50 people, including two people in serious condition, to Himachal Pradesh's Bhuntar from snow-covered regions of Lahaul-Spiti.
Visitors stranded at Kullu due to heavy snowfall were also taken to several other locations.
The region is known for heavy snowfall, which has often affected the lives of people who reside here.
Heavy snowfall in the region has often hampered the movement of vehicles as well.
